Autumn Valley pairs a large plank with a slimmer build: 1900 mm by 190 mm boards at 12 mm total thickness, with 1.2 mm of oak as the wear surface. The lower height can help where a new floor has to meet existing tile or carpet without a big step at the transition. The oak is wire brushed, giving a surface grain you can feel, and sealed with a UV lacquer cured before shipping, so nothing is finished on site. As engineered wood it copes with the humidity changes that open up seams in solid planks.
