Honey Engineered Oak By Simba Flooring

Honey is oak, but not a solid oak floor. The 15 mm board is engineered, with 3.0 mm of oak bonded over a core built to stay put when the weather changes, and that construction is why engineered wood works in condos, over concrete and in homes without tight humidity control. The planks are wide and long at 190 mm by 1900 mm, which reads well in open plan spaces. Texture comes from a wire brushed oak face, sealed under a factory cured UV lacquer. With a wear layer of that depth, refinishing is an option instead of replacement. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Honey across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
