Went with 22 Floors for our place, worked with Mathew directly. A few things that mattered more than we expected going in. Old flooring removal is messy no matter who you hire, but they actually contained it. Plastic sheeting up, vents covered, doors sealed off, so the dust from ripping out the old floor and cutting new planks stayed in the work zone instead of spreading through the whole house. We've heard horror stories from friends about fine dust settling in every room for weeks after a flooring job, didn't have that problem here. Punctuality held up day to day too, not just "we'll be done by Friday" but actually showing up when they said each morning. No half days where the crew doesn't show and you're left wondering if the job's still happening. Communication was tight the whole way through. Texted a question, got an answer same day, not three days later or not at all. And when we asked about a different layout option partway through, Mathew actually talked it through with us instead of just telling us how it had to be done. Felt like he was working with us, not just executing a checklist. Would recommend if you're tired of contractors who disappear mid-project or treat your preferences as an inconvenience.

We had 5 different flooring companies come to our home last year and out of the 5 we might have gone with one but something did not feel right so we put it to rest. Turns out, our very good friends just had their wood floors replaced and they were so happy with the entire process. After seeing their newly installed floors, we gave 22Flooring a call. Mathew came to meet us and brought floor samples that matched some photos of similar styles we sent to him. My husband and I felt so comfortable with him and after he pointed out certain areas that we also had concerns about, we felt his experience and knowledge solidify the fact that we were in good hands. The 3 man team that came to our home to remove the old floors and install the new ones was better than we could have imagined. I have to give them a huge shout out because Richard (the lead man), Long and Tai all worked so well together. They all come with matching company t-shirts (nice touch).They are exceptional hard working men who are clean, organized and each of them had their own set of skills plus they treated our home with care. Richard is meticulous and has such a eye for detail, even our new floor air vents are made with the same floor boards so the lines all meet exactly.
