Antique Natural Oak (02118) belongs to Shaw Floors' Floorté Classic collection and uses a WPC core, meaning wood-plastic composite, at 8 mm thick. With an EVA pad as underlayment, it is comfortable to walk on. Boards come 5 inches wide and 48 inches long, and a micro bevel runs around each one. The top has a 20 mil wear layer under ScuffResist Platinum, which suits kitchens and hallways. Installation can be a floating floor or direct glue, and the grade rating covers above, on and below. A glued floor needs a flat, clean subfloor, so we check that before work starts.
