Because Armoric floats on a Välinge 2G drop lock, the boards join edge to edge over your existing subfloor with no nails and no adhesive, which keeps the job quick and the floor liftable later. It is a laminate from the Gallo line by PrimaPlanks, 0.327" thick in an oak design, measuring 7.68" wide and 47.835" long. The surface is embossed, held at a mat gloss, and protected by aluminum oxide with an AC4 abrasion rating for busy rooms. Every board is micro bevelled on four sides. Underlay is not attached, so we spec one to suit the subfloor. A carton holds 8 boards, or 20.4 sq ft. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Armoric across Toronto and the GTA, with laminate installation from $3.20 per square foot.
