Roasted Chestnut is real European oak, not a printed image of it. Biyork builds this Nouveau 7 Prelude floor as engineered hardwood, with each board 76" long, 7-1/2" wide and 1/2" thick. The top is wirebrushed and treated with an anti-bacterial coating, and the character grade leaves knots visible. For homeowners with radiant heat, compatibility is confirmed, and the floor is rated for on, above or below grade installs, so basements are an option. A tongue and groove system joins the boards, and our installers prep the subfloor before laying them.
