Product Specifications
Sombrero is a wirebrushed European oak from Biyork, sold in the Nouveau 8 collection. It is engineered hardwood, so the oak you walk on sits on a stable layered base rather than being one solid piece. The boards are 3/4" thick and 8-1/2" wide, with lengths up to 86", sized for large living and dining areas. Character grade keeps the knots and natural markings in the wood. Sombrero can be installed on, above or below grade and works with a radiant heat system, so a heated lower level is an option. The boards join by tongue and groove. It is FloorScore certified and covered by a 30-year residential warranty. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Sombrero across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
