Eames is an engineered European white oak from Pravada Floors, part of the Décor collection. It is approved for use over radiant heat, and its layered 7–9 ply core under a sliced 2 mm nominal veneer moves less than solid wood as the seasons change. Each 1/2 x 7.5 in plank comes in a random length between 24 and 74 in. The surface is wire brushed and smoked, sealed with UV lacquer in a matte 5–15% gloss. Its Janka hardness is 1360. With ABCD grading and high variation, the rows never look repetitive.
