Alpine Leather is an oak engineered hardwood from Fuzion's Whistler's Village collection. The board is a 3-layer solidcore with a 3 mm sawn wood face, 9/16 inches thick overall and 7 1/2 inches wide, in random lengths up to 71 inches. The surface is lightly wirebrushed and finished in UV cured polyurethane with aluminum oxide at a low lustre level, with micro-bevelled edges and a variation level of 2, so the boards read fairly consistent from one to the next. Engineered construction lets it sit on, above or below grade, and it is approved over hydronic radiant heat. Warranty is a limited 35 years residential plus lifetime structural, and it is Floorscore certified. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Alpine Leather across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
