The European white oak surface has been handscraped, brushed and distressed, graded Antique, and finished in mat UV-cured oil, a finish that suits family homes where a floor sees real use. Under that sits a 0.1570" dry solid sawn veneer over a eucalyptus core, for 0.591" in total thickness. The planks measure 7.48" by 74.803" and connect by tongue and groove, with micro bevelled edges. Because it is engineered, you get real oak on top with a core that is more dimensionally stable than solid wood.
