Heritage carries the San Marino specification: engineered wood, 3-ply, 9/16 inch thick, in boards of 74.8 by 7 3/8 inches, micro-bevelled on four sides with a tongue and groove joint. The 3 mm wear layer is the part that matters over time, since it is the wood you actually walk on, and it is protected by a matte, wire-brushed coating that carries 10% aluminum oxide gloss. Goodfellow clears the floor for all levels of a home with floating, glue-down or nail-down installation, and asks that the space sit between 30% and 65% relative humidity.
