Product Specifications
With a dog in the house, the wear layer matters most, and Journal (05179) has 20 mil of it under a ScuffResist Platinum finish. Shaw Floors makes this plank for its Floorté Classic collection on a wood-plastic composite (WPC) core, 8 mm thick, with a pad attached. The boards are long and wide at 72 by 9 inches, and pressed bevels outline each one. Journal is approved for direct glue or a floating installation, and for use above, on and below grade, so it fits a mudroom, a kitchen or a lower-level rec room. Cartons cover 26.56 sq ft, and the flooring is produced in Vietnam. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Journal across Toronto and the GTA, with floating installation from $3.20 per square foot, or glue-down from $5.50 per square foot including glue.
