Maple 7200 Natural is an engineered wood floor from Goodfellow's Adirondack collection, built on an HDF core with a 1.2 mm wear layer. The planks are 12 mm thick and 5" wide, with micro-beveled edges on 4 sides and a matte surface with 10% aluminum oxide gloss. Instead of nails or glue, this floor floats: the Tap & Go clic system locks the boards together, and it is rated for all levels of the home. Wood still responds to moisture in the air, so the room should stay between 30% and 65% relative humidity, and a humidifier helps through Toronto winters.
