For a taupe floor in real wood, Oak Driftwood from Richmond Flooring's Reverie Classic collection is an engineered oak plank in a medium shade. The boards are 190 mm wide and 18 mm thick, sold in random lengths between 400 mm and 1900 mm. The oak sits on a multi-layer ply core and is approved for use over embedded radiant heat. Installers can glue, float, nail or staple it, on its tongue and groove edges. The matte, traditional look has an aluminum oxide urethane finish and four-sided micro bevels. It is rated for residential and light commercial use, with a 25-year residential and 5-year light commercial warranty.
