Pure Natural is an engineered hickory hardwood from NAF Floors@Work, made in 18 mm planks that are 6½″ wide. The boards arrive in random lengths, which is how most hardwood floors are laid: short and long pieces mixed together so no pattern repeats. The surface is wirebrushed, as the collection name, NAF 18mm Eng. Wirebrushed Hickory Hardwood, indicates. Engineered construction pairs a hickory wear surface with a layered backing, which makes the floor less reactive when indoor humidity rises and falls. It works in bedrooms, home offices and living rooms.
