Quarry HS is built with a basswood filleted core and backer under its oak face, which is what keeps an engineered board flat across a wide plank and over a slab. European White Oak appears as 7.5″ rustic, plus 7.8″ or 9.8″ in SB, with North American White Oak and Red Oak in Select. Surfaces are smooth, wire brushed or handscraped with PurFlex UV Oil on top. The floor is radiant heat compliant and can be nailed, glued or floated.
