Entryways, mudrooms and hallways see the most foot traffic in a house, and Slate Bone has a 0.5 mm wear layer to protect its ceramic-look surface in those spots. This Evolution Azura floor measures 610 mm (24") long by 305 mm (12") wide. It is 4.5 mm thick, or 5/32", and a 1.0 mm membrane is added to that. Because a 1 mm underlay is attached, nothing extra goes under it before we start. The pieces lock with a 5G click system and float, so no adhesive touches your subfloor.
