Slate Coal has a slim profile: 4.5 mm (5/32") plus a 1.0 mm membrane. A thin floor like this makes transitions to neighbouring rooms and clearance under doors easier to manage than a thick tile and mortar bed. It is one of the ceramic-look floors in the Evolution Azura collection. Each piece is 12" by 24" (305 mm by 610 mm), with a 1 mm underlay attached underneath and a 0.5 mm wear layer on the surface. The pieces click together with a 5G click system and float over the subfloor.
