Toffee Crunch is part of Vidar Flooring's American white oak range in 7 1/2 inch wide planks. It is engineered hardwood, meaning a 3mm layer of real oak veneer is bonded to a core beneath it, and the finished board is 9/16 inch thick. We like this build for main floors and bedrooms because it stays more stable than solid wood when the furnace runs all winter. The wirebrushed surface gives the oak a textured feel and makes normal wear from kids and pets less obvious. Toffee Crunch is offered in select and select & better grades, which keep knots and colour variation more restrained. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Toffee Crunch across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
