Ambassador (05057) floats over the subfloor with an XPO pad already bonded to each plank, so there is no adhesive, no fasteners and nothing extra to buy for underlay. It is a residential SPC floor from the Floorté Pro line, 5 mm thick, cut 7 inches wide by 48 inches long with accent bevelled edges. The 20 mil wear layer and ScuffResist Platinum finish cover the print and take the daily marks from chairs, shoes and pets. Because the core is stone-composite it is waterproof, and the floor is rated above, on and below grade, so lower-level suites are fair game.
