Armoric Xtra is a water-resistant laminate, and it helps to know what that means before you pick a room: it handles spills in a kitchen or entry when they are wiped up, aided by waxed micro bevels on all four edges that slow water at the seams. The board belongs to HydraPlanks' Gallo Xtra collection, in an oak design with an embossed, mat surface. Boards run 47.835″ in length and 7.68″ in width, at 0.327″ thick. An aluminum oxide top gives it an AC4 abrasion rating and a Class 32 general commercial rating, enough for pets and busy family traffic. The boards float, locked together with a Välinge 5G drop lock, over their own underlay.
