Product Specifications
Herringbone takes more care to lay than straight planks, and Ashen (15041) is a glue-down floor, which keeps every piece of the pattern fixed in place. It is part of Anderson Tuftex's Provincial Herringbone line, style AA853, in engineered white oak. The boards measure 5″ by 35.5″ at 5/8″ thick, with a 3 mm veneer of real oak on top. Because it is rated above, on or below grade, it can run from a main floor down into a lower level. The surface is wirebrushed and finished with UV aluminum oxide at 7% gloss, a low sheen. Anderson Tuftex lists it as not light sensitive, and it holds GreenGuard Gold and Cradle to Cradle certifications. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Ashen across Toronto and the GTA, with herringbone installation quoted per job after a free measure.
