You can float Barley Field (07194) or set it in direct glue, and Shaw approves either method on any grade of the house. Floating is quicker and keeps adhesive off the subfloor, while direct glue makes the floor feel more solid and is often the call over concrete. The planks are 178 mm wide and 1219 mm long at 4.4 mm thick, built on an SPC core that water will not damage. A ScuffResist finish covers a 20 mil wear layer, the edges carry a micro bevel, and an EVA pad is already bonded to the back. One carton covers 27.73 sq ft. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Barley Field across Toronto and the GTA, with floating installation from $3.20 per square foot, or glue-down from $5.50 per square foot including glue.
