Product Specifications
Blacksmith Forge is a character grade European oak in Biyork's Nouveau 7 Prelude line. The engineered hardwood boards measure 7-1/2" in width, 1/2" in thickness and 76" in length. Engineered construction pairs a real oak top with a layered core, so the floor copes with humidity changes better than solid wood, which matters on lower levels. You can lay it on, above or below grade, and radiant heat systems are compatible. The wirebrushed finish and natural knots help disguise light scratches from pets and daily traffic, and the surface carries an anti-bacterial coating. Boards connect by tongue and groove. There is a 30-year residential warranty, and FloorScore certification confirms it meets indoor air quality standards. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Blacksmith Forge across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
