Product Specifications
Centaurus is engineered European oak from Biyork's Nouveau 8 line. The boards are 8-1/2" wide and 3/4" thick, in lengths up to 86", with a wirebrushed finish that leaves a tactile grain on the surface. Character grade means the natural knots stay in. Engineered hardwood puts real oak over a multi-layer base, so it is less prone to cupping and gapping than solid wood when the seasons change. Centaurus suits installation on, above or below grade and can be used with radiant heat, which gives you more choice about where it goes. Edges are tongue and groove. The warranty is 30-year residential, and FloorScore certification covers indoor air quality. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Centaurus across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
