Product Specifications
For a home with active kids and pets, Baywood's mix of hickory and a textured wirebrushed or handscraped finish is a sensible one. Biyork produces it as character grade engineered hardwood in Nouveau 6, with tongue and groove boards 6-1/2" wide, 3/4" thick and random in length. Scuffs tend to blend into a textured, knotty surface more easily than into a smooth one. Baywood is approved on, above or below grade. Leave it out of rooms with radiant heat, since hickory is the listed exception. It is FloorScore certified for indoor air and backed by a 30-year residential warranty. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Baywood across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
