Outback is SPC flooring from Biyork's HydroGen 6 collection, and the spec that matters most for a Toronto home may be its temperature stability: Biyork says the planks hold steady from -30°C to +50°C. That is useful in a sunroom, a room with large windows or a seasonal cottage. The structure is 100% waterproof. Each plank measures 7" wide and 60" long, 6mm thick overall, with a 0.5mm wear layer. They lock with the Unilin Unipush Click system as a floating floor and can go on, above or below grade, including over radiant heat. You get a 30-year residential wear warranty, with 10 years for light commercial.
