Brazilian Black Cherry is a Jatoba hardwood from Pravada Floors' Exotics collection. This plank rates 2350 on the Janka scale, so it stands up well to dogs, kids and busy kitchens. The face is a sliced 2 mm nominal veneer on a 9 ply core with precision tongue and groove, which makes it an engineered floor. Boards are 1/2" x 5" in random lengths from 18 to 84", and 80% of them run the full 84", giving long runs with few end joints. ABC grading with medium board variation gives a natural mix.
