Caramel is one of the Select Designer colours from XL Flooring. The specs list laminated PVC construction, a 5 mm (0.197″) thickness, planks of 48″ (1218 mm) by 7″ (178 mm), a brushed emboss surface and 20 mil of wear layer. That wear layer is why a floor like this holds up in rooms where people come and go all day. Dryback appears as the base layer, with Tight-Fit given as the method of installation, an XL Flooring system rather than an industry standard joint, so we settle the fixing details and preparation first. It is warranted 35 years residential and 20 years commercial. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Caramel across Toronto and the GTA, with glue-down vinyl installation from $5.50 per square foot, including glue.
