European Oak Collection-Brooklyn By Vidar Flooring

Brooklyn is a European Oak floor in Vidar Flooring's European Oak 7 collection. It is made in one thickness, 9/16 inch, and one grade, rustic, so the boards are chosen to show character rather than sorted for a uniform look. Width is 7 1/2 inches, which suits an open plan main floor, and the surface is wirebrushed, a texture that pulls out the grain and hides day to day scuffing better than a smooth face does. The wear layer is a 3 mm oak veneer. Vidar lists Brooklyn for Western Canada, so we confirm stock and lead time before ordering. We look at the subfloor first, then price the labour from how the floor will be laid. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Brooklyn across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
