Night Owl brings European white ash into a room in wide 195 mm boards, 18 mm thick, from Vidar Design Flooring's 7 Inch collection. The engineered multi-layer build carries a 3 mm veneer, dry sawn rather than peeled, so the face shows sawn grain. A wire brushed texture, micro bevel and ultra matte BONA UV lacquer make up the finish. At 1320 on the Janka scale, it handles family dining rooms and entryways. For installation we nail the tongue and groove profile down with the recommended glue assist, and it is compatible with hydronic in-floor heat.
