Fuzion Gaviota Bay from the Coastline Collection

Gaviota Bay is engineered hickory with a handscraped face, one of two hickory options in Fuzion's Coastline collection. Before you choose it, know that it is not compatible with radiant heat, so it belongs in rooms without in-floor heating. Otherwise it is flexible: rated on, above or below grade, and installable by nailing, stapling, gluing down or floating. The construction pairs a sliced hickory face, 2mm deep, with a plywood core of several layers, making a 1/2" thick board that is 7 1/2" wide and random in length up to 71". The finish is UV-cured polyurethane with aluminum oxide in a low degree luster, with micro-bevelled edges. Each 44 lb carton holds 35.8 sq. ft. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Gaviota Bay across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
