Product Specifications
Solution dyed twisted polypropylene is the fibre behind Mistywood, a tufted commercial carpet tile in the Caledon collection from Fuzion. Polypropylene takes up very little moisture, and because the dye is added while the fibre is made, the colour sits inside the yarn. Mistywood has a 1/12" gauge, a fibreglass reinforced PVC backing and a face weight listed as 16 oz. per sq. yd. Tiles are 20" by 19.7" and are set in full spread glue, laid ashlar, brick, monolithic or quarter turn. For an office, a corridor or a shop floor, that modular format keeps repairs small, since one tile lifts out at a time.
