Mountaineer can be nailed, stapled, glued down or floated, which gives us options over plywood or concrete, and it is cleared for use on, above or below grade. This oak plank from Fuzion's Summit Ridge collection measures 6 1/2 inches across at 1/2 inch thick, with lengths running random up to 71 inches. The face is lightly wirebrushed with bevelled edges and a low luster finish, protected by UV cured polyurethane with aluminum oxide. Hydronic radiant heat underneath is allowed, which matters in condos and newer houses.
