Sting Ray belongs to the Atlantis line from Fuzion, a 12mm laminate listed as waterproof flooring planks. For a household with pets and kids, two specs matter most here: the AC5 rating, which covers heavy foot traffic, and a limited lifetime residential warranty, with 10-year limited light commercial wear on top. Each plank is 50 1/2" long and 7 1/2" wide with an embossed finish. The edges are painted and sealed from edge to edge with a non-ionic high polymer, so spills sit on the surface rather than soaking into joints. Sting Ray installs as a floating floor and is rated for basements and upper floors alike, as well as hydronic heating.
