Gatwick uses long planks, 1545 mm end to end, which suit open-concept main floors and long hallways because there are fewer end joints across the room. Each plank is 183 mm wide and 7 mm thick. Purelux makes it as part of ProLine 7, a Stone Plastic Composite (SPC) series, so the core is rigid and does not absorb water. Underneath is a 1.5 mm IXPE underlayment, rated IIC 72 for impact sound and STC 73 for airborne sound. The top has a 20 mil wear layer, an embossed texture and a painted bevel. Planks join with a Drop Lock 5Gi system and float without glue.
