Gold Dust (01001) in the Mendocino style (200SA) is an engineered maple that we can nail or staple down on an upstairs wood subfloor, or glue or float where that suits better. Upper-floor bedrooms and hallways are a natural fit. A scraped face and a 40% gloss level define the surface, the edges are pillowed, and colour variation is moderate. Each plank has a 1.2 mm maple veneer, a 3/8″ thickness, a 6.38″ width and a length between 10″ and 58.5″. The finish is Shaw's Repel, made to resist water. Gold Dust is also approved on and below grade and with radiant heat.
