Product Specifications
Northwest keeps to brown and taupe in hickory, one of the harder North American species, which helps in a house with dogs or kids. It is an engineered board from Grandeur's Artisan collection, 3/4 of an inch thick overall with a 2 mm hickory veneer, milled 6-1/2 inches wide and supplied in random lengths. Brushed and hand scraped texturing gives the surface depth and takes the shine off scuffs. Grading is ABCD, so expect variation in knots and grain from board to board. Each box holds 20.25 square feet, and the floor can be installed on, above or below grade, basements included, which a solid board could not do. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Northwest across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
