Grandeur Flooring Engineered Hardwood
Grandeur Flooring's engineered hardwood on our site runs to 93 products in 15 collections. Every line is 3/4" thick and rated for installation on, above or below grade, so any of them can go into a basement as well as a main floor. Most are white oak. Prestige is American oak, Ultra mixes white and American oak, Elevation and Artisan are hickory, and Divine is maple.
The collections differ mainly in width, texture and the thickness of real wood on top. Wear layers range from 1.5 mm on Scandinavia to 4 mm on Elite, Noble and Sunshine, and the thicker layers are the better choice if you want to sand and refinish later. Planks run from 6" to 9-1/2" wide, and Herringbone comes in 5" and 6" pieces for patterned floors. For light, cleaner floors, look at Regal, Prestige and Ultra. Crown Land and part of Enterprise are smoked and saw marked for a rustic look, while Elevation, Artisan and Divine are hand scraped, which hides wear from pets and kids.

How much does Grandeur flooring cost installed in Toronto?
Engineered hardwood is from $4.90 nailed or glued, including the glue and the nails, or $3.20 where it clicks and floats. Click vinyl is from $3.20 per square foot and glue-down from $5.50 with the glue included. Laminate is from $3.20 per square foot. Taking up your old floor is included, the floor itself is priced on top, and the figure is fixed in writing after a free in-home measure. Herringbone and chevron are quoted per job.
Can Grandeur engineered hardwood be refinished?
It depends on the wear layer. A thicker veneer has enough wood above the tongue to take a sanding later; a thin one often has none. We read the spec sheet before telling you either way.
Can I see Grandeur samples before I decide?
We bring samples to the free in-home measure so you see the boards in your own light, not under showroom lighting.
Do you install Grandeur outside Toronto?
Yes. We work across Toronto and the GTA, and our installers travel as far as Wasaga Beach, Niagara Falls and Castleton.
