Elevation

Hickory is the species behind Elevation, and it is a good match for a hard-working house. Hickory is harder than oak and naturally swings in colour from board to board, and Grandeur adds a brushed and hand-scraped texture on top. Between the grain, the colour variation and the texture, dents and scratches from pets and kids are hard to spot.

Planks come 7-1/2" across and 3/4" thick in random lengths, with ABCD grading and a 2 mm hickory wear layer. Elevation is approved for on, above or below grade installs, so basements, main floors and upper storeys are all fair game. You get 23.32 sq ft per box, and the limited warranty is 35 year residential.

Eight colours are available. Icefall is the lightest, in beige, natural, blonde and white tones. Canyon, Dune and Summit sit in taupe and brown, Nimbus is taupe and dark grey, Paramount is brown with reddish tones, and Crown and Alpine go darker with black in the mix. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Elevation across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
