Paradise

Paradise uses a narrower 6" white oak board, a traditional width that looks right in smaller rooms, hallways and older homes where wide planks can feel out of scale. The surface is smoked and brushed, and several colours bring in grey, from light grey on Santa Monica to dark grey on Santa Cruz and Laguna Beach.

Boards are 3/4" thick and random length, graded ABCD, with a 2 mm white oak top layer. The texture does a good job of hiding the fine scratches that come with dogs and kids. Installation is approved on, above or below grade, so the same floor can run from the main level down into a finished basement. A box covers 20.35 or 20.62 sq ft depending on colour, and the floor carries a 35-year residential limited warranty.

The five colours are Santa Cruz in brown and dark grey, Laguna Beach in taupe and dark grey, Santa Monica in taupe and light grey, Venice Beach in natural and blonde, and Malibu in natural and beige. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Paradise across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
