Woden Flooring

Six engineered hardwood collections from this brand are on our site, 43 products in all: Grand Chateau (10), Vermont (9), Lumine (7), Elite (6), Timbercraft (6) and Monte Rosa (5). Every plank is 3/4" thick in random lengths from 16" to 74", and widths are either 6 1/2" (Elite, Lumine, Vermont) or 7 1/2" (Grand Chateau, Monte Rosa, Timbercraft).

Grade and top layer are the other big differences. Monte Rosa is AB grade with a 3 mm top layer, for a cleaner look in living rooms and bedrooms. Vermont and Timbercraft are ABC, and Elite and Grand Chateau are ABCD, with more knots and variation that hide wear in busy homes. Lumine lists the thickest top layer at 4 mm and Elite the thinnest at 2 mm, which affects how often a floor can be refinished. Most lines are wire brushed, while Timbercraft is smoked and saw-marked.

Woden engineered hardwood is from $4.90 per square foot installed, including the glue and the nails. Woden vinyl is from $3.20 per square foot for the click planks and $5.50 glue-down with the glue included. The floor itself is priced separately, and the quote is fixed in writing after a free in-home measure.

Is Woden vinyl or hardwood?
Both. This page is the engineered hardwood, with 3 mm and 4 mm top layers. The vinyl side, including the herringbone, is on the Woden vinyl page, and we supply and install either across Toronto and the GTA.

How thick is the Woden veneer?
Woden's engineered boards carry 3 mm and 4 mm top layers, which is thicker than much of the market. A 4 mm veneer has enough wood above the tongue to be sanded and refinished later, so the floor is not a one-life product.

Do you install Woden outside Toronto?
