Lucid Flooring

Lucid Flooring has two engineered hardwood collections on our site, Planks with 11 products and Herringbone with 10, and both use the same ten American oak colours: Bare, Calm, Enhance, Essence, Nature, Pristine, Pure, Senses, Soothe and Tranquil. That makes it easy to run straight planks through the main rooms and a herringbone pattern in the entry or dining room in a matching tone.

Construction is consistent across both lines. Boards are ¾" thick with a tongue-and-groove joint, a wirebrushed texture, matte gloss and micro-bevelled edges, and they are nailed and glued rather than floated. Every product is rated for on, above or below grade installation, basements included. The planks come 6½" or 7½" wide in random lengths, and the herringbone pieces are 5" or 6" wide. Accessories are custom order, so plan ahead for matching trims.
