Senses Herringbone Collection By Lucid Flooring

American Oak gives Senses its grain, and Lucid Flooring cuts it for a herringbone layout rather than straight rows. Pieces are 3/4 inch thick and 5 inches wide, with tongue-and-groove edges that get nailed and glued to the subfloor. Because nothing floats, there is no separate underlay layer between the floor and what is beneath it. The wirebrushed texture and matte finish suit households with pets and kids, since a low-sheen surface does not show scratches and paw marks the way a gloss finish does. Micro bevels frame every piece.
