Toucan

Two engineered lines make up this brand on our site, with six colours each. TCN1 Studio uses an American Oak wear layer 2 mm thick on a 6.5" plank, while TCN2 Towne moves to European Oak with a 3 mm wear layer on a 7.49" plank. Studio fits bedrooms and smaller rooms, and Towne's wider board and thicker wear layer make sense for open main floors you may want to refinish one day.

Both share the same build: 3/4" (18 mm) thick, random lengths up to 74.81", a eucalyptus and acacia ply base, a light wire brushed UV protected finish and a micro-bevel on all four sides. Every colour is listed as a warm shade in a medium tone, and both lines carry a 30-year residential warranty.

Studio colours are Oyster, Tusk, Sable, Woodland, Sky and Shadow. Towne colours are Silk, Shell, Satin, Hazelnut, Cashmere and Solitude. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Toucan engineered hardwood across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
