About the collection
Next Floor Engineered Hardwood
Next Floor's engineered hardwood on our site comes in seven collections and 34 products, all built on acacia core layers with a wire brushed surface, four-sided bevelled edges and a low luster finish. Oak and hickory are the species, and the lines differ in thickness, width, board length and the depth of the wood veneer.
Signal Hill 632 is the thinnest at 3/8" (9.5 mm), useful where floor height is tight, and Nob Hill 631 offers the same 6-1/2" width and colours at 3/4". Both use a 1.2 mm sliced veneer and lengths up to 71". Beacon Hill 628 and its all-oak Reserve 633 are 1/2" thick and 7-1/2" wide with a 2 mm sawn face. Notting Hill 629 and Reserve 634 step up to 3/4" with a 3 mm sawn face, in lengths up to 75". Mission Hill 630 is the largest board, 10-1/4" wide, 5/8" thick and up to 87" long with a 4 mm sawn oak veneer, suited to big open rooms.

Our Next Floor flooring review answers what we get asked in the showroom: how thick the wear layer is, what the warranty covers and what installation costs.
