Beacon Hill Reserve 633

Three oak colours make up this Reserve line: Clean Oak, Ecru Oak and Naked Oak. There is no hickory here, which suits buyers who want the calmer grain of oak rather than the strong contrast hickory brings.

Under the colour, each plank is 7-1/2" (19 cm) wide and 1/2" (12 mm) thick, with seven layers of engineered wood built on acacia core layers and a 2 mm sawn oak veneer on top. Lengths are random up to 75" in a premium sort, and over 60% of a finished floor is covered by full-length 75" boards, which means fewer short pieces and end joints. At 1/2" the planks sit lower than thick boards, which helps next to existing doors and transitions.

A wire brushed texture, bevelled edges on all four sides and a low luster sheen help hide everyday scuffs. That finish is a UV-cured polyurethane with aluminum oxide, and planks join with tongue and groove. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Beacon Hill Reserve 633 across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
