Crown Land

Crown Land is Grandeur Flooring's smoked, saw-marked white oak. The saw marks leave a rough-cut, rustic surface and the smoking deepens the tone of the oak, so small scuffs and dust blend in instead of standing out. That suits busy family rooms, hallways and homes with dogs.

Every plank is 7-1/2" wide and 3/4" thick, sold in random lengths with an ABCD grade, a mixed grade that lets knots and colour variation show. The top layer of real oak is 3 mm on SunSpear and Kings Landing and 4 mm on Northern Castle, which leaves wood to sand and refinish down the road. You can lay it on, above or below grade, which opens up finished basements as well as main floors. A box covers 23.32 sq ft, and Grandeur backs the floor with a 35 year residential limited warranty.

There are three colours: SunSpear in natural and beige tones, Northern Castle in brown and beige, and Kings Landing in brown with a reddish cast. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Crown Land across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
