Sunshine

Sunshine pairs a 6" white oak board with a thick 4 mm wear layer: a traditional, narrower width, but with plenty of real oak on top for sanding and refinishing in years to come. Almost the whole range is bright, so it works well in north-facing rooms, condos and spaces short on daylight.

The surface is smoked and brushed. Smoking adds depth to the oak's colour, and brushing lifts the grain slightly so the floor has some texture underfoot and hides small marks. Thickness is 3/4", lengths are random, and the ABCD grade brings a natural mix of knots and tone. The listed installation options are on, above or below grade, so basements are included. Grandeur's warranty on it is 35 year residential. Each box covers 18.41 sq ft.

Panama City, Miami and Key West are blonde, beige and natural, Destin is blonde and beige, and Clear Water adds white for the palest look. Cocoa Beach is the one warm colour, in brown, reddish and natural. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Sunshine across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
