Elite

Wide boards and long, even lengths set Elite apart. Every plank is 9-1/2" wide, 3/4" thick and 86" long, so the floor reads as broad runs of white oak with fewer end joints. That works well in open-concept main floors and large living rooms.

The colour comes from a reactive stain, which reacts with the natural tannins in the oak instead of sitting on top as a pigment, so tone shifts slightly from board to board. The white oak top layer is 4 mm, a generous thickness that allows sanding and refinishing in future. Grading is ABCD, and approval on, above and below grade means Elite can go on any level of the house, basements included. Grandeur covers it with a 35 year residential limited warranty.

The six colours are Yoho, Pacific Rim and Banff in lighter natural and blonde tones, Whistler and Cape Breton in taupe and brown, and Mont Tremblant in black. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Elite across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
